A BIG Welcome back to all students on Tuesday!!!

On Tuesday we have everyone back at school. This is simply the BEST news!!
We will have some sense of normality, albeit with a few little changes.
This does mean many more people dropping students off and picking students up from school.
In line with the Education Department guidelines, all parents/carers must follow the COVID-19 ‘Return to School Plan’
It is very important that these guidelines are followed. We have had several complaints from parents/staff about the lack of social distancing demonstrated by some parents.
I feel absolutely dreadful asking parents to move along quickly and preferably NOT come onto the school grounds. But these are the Education Department guidelines and this plan is to ensure we provide the safest possible environment during this time. I ask that we work together to make the most of this situation.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
1. School still starts for all children at the same time, 9.00
2. Parents/carers drop children off between 8.30 - 9.00
3. Students in Grade Prep, 1 & 2 finish school at 3.00.
  • Their siblings will finish school at 3.00 too.
  • Parents/carers must pick these children up at this time to minimise numbers of people on the school ground
4. The remaining students in Grade 3,4,5,6 will finish school at 3.15pm
5. Parents/carers are to observe physical distancing measures by not congregating in areas inside or around the school (including the school car park, seating areas etc.)
6. Parents/carers of Grade Prep, One and Two children may need to bring their child to the classroom if he/she is anxious. However, they must limit the time spent in the school and preferable not enter the classrooms.
7. Parents/carers of Grade Three, Four, Five and Six are discouraged from entering the school grounds unless absolutely necessary.
