Welcome to Mildura West Primary School!

Mildura West Primary School is a vibrant and happy place to be. When you walk through the classrooms you can feel this special “vibe”, it’s everywhere!

We have approximately 400 students, who come from a diverse range of backgrounds and nations. We offer an excellent range of educational opportunities, facilities and resources. 

Our students are simply amazing, they happily talk about themselves and their learning because they are empowered and confident. They know that their opinions and ideas matter, they know we truly listen to them and that we will take action as a result. Children constantly reflect on their learning and set goals accordingly – they have control of their learning.  There is a partnership between parents, carers and students, which is why we provide the very best education possible, for every child.

The most exciting development in the last 2 years has been joining the International Baccalaureate program. After being an IB Candidate school for 18 months, we successfully gained accreditation in November 2019.  The IB program provides an inspirational framework for our children and our school community.
